Time to harvest - it was trying to flower. I left a couple that seemed to have a little time, but the total harvest (not including side shoots) was 8.5 lbs

Cut three heads this big, about 6 ounces each, for memorial day broccoli salad (also used larger onions from the garden too.
Pulled the garlic - the bulbs are smaller than I'd like, but some were already done - no paper left.

As they grow up the trellis, they have begin to bloom. The ones i planted first and the ones i planted subsequently appear to be the same height, and both are blossooming.

I think either I planted them a little early, or a little deep, or they were just not the greatest seed potatoes. The first one came up about the fourth week of April, and now a few more have come up, but it is no number crop yet

The broccoli was discovered by the groundhog last night. He also enjoyed some pea plants. I have now fenced the garden in so this does not happen again. One oddity - the romaine inbetween the broccoli is growing much better than the romaine planted by themselves.

Yea, I know. Too early. But they were getting too big and had too many blossoms to leave them in the greenhouse anymore.
Fingers crossed.

Jalepenos doing nicely
Ring of fire too.
Cayennes bursting forth
And more cayennes.
The habaneros were a bust. Looks like one, maybe 2 will grow. So I cheated and bought 6 more for two bucks at aday.
I can feel the burn already.

The grapes have really begun to wake up over the couple weeks. Just about to explode.

Finally transplanted that first flat of carrots into the garden. Need to do the second one quickly and get some seeds in there too.
The direct seeded peas are coming up nicely now.
The tomato plants are beginning to flower in the geenhouse. I will begin moving them outside during the day and transplant the early - around the first week of may.
The cukes look good in the greenhouse - 3 didn't germinate, I replaced those seeds today.
Habeneros just ain't happening. Maybe we will end up with 5 plants. Maybe. Might have to buy some.
